
If the listing is Active in the MLS and the listing agent is unresponsive you will need to provide one of the following. The listing must reflect as Active (Available) in the MLS.
If you are reporting a status violation please e-mail MLSStatus@miamire.com
• Copy of the denied showing request
• Copy of text message
• Agent name/date/time of phone call
• Copy of buyer’s contract (If agent is complaining the listing needs to reflect as pending or active with contract)
• MLS# will need to provide a part of the status complaint.
• Scenario #1 Not Available for showings
Listing is not available for showings and the property is active.
Please provide a copy of the denied showing request, a text or e-mail with the listing agent advising that the property is not available.
• Scenario #2 Listing Status is Active but should be Pending
Listing is active however there is a pending contract, and the status has not been provided.
Please provide a text, e-mail or denied showing request stating that the property is pending.
• Scenario #3 I submitted an offer and I have not received a response.
Please provide the MLS Department with a copy of the Request for Affirmation of Presentation of Offer form. That form can be located here. Please note this form can be used for sale and rental listings.
• Scenario #4 Property was sold however the listing hasn’t been updated
Please provide our MLS Team with the listing number and proof that the property closed such as a link from the county record or a notice from the listing office . MLS Team will notify the listing office that the listing status needs to be updated.
